On February 15th 2017, Desa Visesa Ubud proudly presented ‘Visesa Care and Share’ program to commemorate Valentine day this year. The evening started with invitation to enjoy the sunset at Taman Sari, out in the open overlooking a rice field and lush greenery, with three-course dinner is specially prepared by herbs and spices freshly handpicked from Visesa’s own permaculture garden. Music and dance accompanied the night, from ethnic performance of Trio Batak singers to the fun participative Balinese social dance well-known as Joged Bumbung. The next morning, guests were invited to join a trekking to nearby village and personally met a farmer. They brought gifts, consisting fresh supply of local produce and continued with planting some herbs and spices using permaculture system.
